iThinQ Labs Joins The Red Hat Forum
MAKATI CITY, PHILIPPINES, March 3, 2011. With the agenda to Meet. Engage. Build. iThinQ Labs, formerly known as Q-Linux, joined Red Hat as it held its Manila leg seminar on March 2, 2011 at the Makati Shangri-La; The Forum focuses on cloud computing, virtualization, platform, middleware, and the future of IT. Red Hat aims to gather Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) users and certifieds for a discussion that helps them upgrade their understanding on the evolution of Red Hat. This helps in leveraging the participants’ skills and knowledge as they gain top practices for virtualization and private cloud from Red Hat product experts. Red Hat’s General Manager, Patrick Lim graces the forum with its introductory speech, while Harish Pillay, Global Communication and Technology Architect gives an overview of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 product, covering product goals, new features and capabilities, and packaging. Followed by Sivaram Shunmugan, Senior Solutions Architect as he enlightens the crowd of what Virtualization is and its inevitable importance to achieve operational efficiencies. The event ends with a Networking lunch for Red Hat Certifieds.
