Product Offerings

In developing our product portfolio, IT Group follows a philosophy of using best-of-breed and best value when providing services and solutions for our customers. We partner with third parties such as product vendors to deploy commercial-off-the-shelf products when it is more cost effective to do so or where speed is a more important consideration than flexibility. Besides reselling the products we also provide value-added services such as training, configuration, customization, support. 

Where the customer has a need for a highly differentiated solution, where it is strategic or the level of customization is great, IT Group is able to offer its own internally-developed and highly customizable solutions for customers. In fulfilling these requirements, we follow open standards and support multiple technologies—that way, we insulate our clients from the risks associated with being locked-in to one vendor or technology. In this regard, software built on open source is useful—as it allows us to build on top of research and development already undertaken by a community of software developers around the world. This also allows us to offer a better value proposition to our customers by allowing us to leverage world class software at little or no cost to them.

Where appropriate, we package some products with related these services and offer them to customers as “solution suites.” These suites are marketed under the ComUnion, Synetix and ManageEngine brands respectively.
