IT Group Sponsors Computerworld Philippines Executive Briefing on IT-enabled SMEs

Attendees learned how to reduce their cost and increase revenues with the effective use of IT. The keynote speaker was the Hon. Monchito B. Ibrahim, Commmisioner from the Philippine Commission on Information and Communications Technology. He talked about how SMEs are fueling the growth of the economy and how IT can acelerate that growth. Immediately after, a case study of how a midsized company, which is behind the Bibingkinitan and The Tea Square brand, was using IT for their strategic advantgae was presented by no less than the CEO and founder as well.

Our very own Mr. Jan Pabellon, IT Group’s VP for Business Development, gave a presentation on “How SaaS (or Software-as-a-Service) is enabling SMEs to Cut their IT Costs”. He talked about what SaaS is, the use case for SaaS, and the value of using SaaS in small to midsized businesses.
