IT Group Helps Benpres Bring its Corporate Communication Efforts Online, Cited for Innovation

PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES, July 21, 2009. The Asian Publishing Convention (ACN) gave one of our clients, Benpres Holdings Corporation, an Award of Excellence for its group-wide publication, LopezLink.

Benpres competed with 74 entries from 44 companies in nine countries and was judged as one of four finalists in the category, “Innovative corporate communications in a multimedia world,” at the Asian Multimedia Publishing Awards (AMPA) 2009 last July 17, 2009. The AMPA is Asia’s premier publishing awards program that recognizes best multimedia publishing practices in Asia. It incorporates the Asian Book Publishing Awards and Asian Corporate Communications Awards.

Benpres publishes LopezLink monthly as a means to unite the diverse interests and persuasions of over 14,000 employees who belong to the more than a hundred organizations that comprise the Lopez Group of companies. It may be downloaded from the Benpres website, www.benpres-holdings.com, while its interactive online edition, www.lopezlink.ph, debuted in March 2009. IT Group helped Benpres in bringing their corporate communication efforts online.

APC and the Awards, described as the learning and networking event for publishing professionals in Asia, is presented by a host of regional and national associations: the ASEAN Book Publishers Association (ABPA), Asia Digital Marketing Association (ADMA), Asian Media Information & Communication Centre (AMIC), Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA), Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), Magazine Business Association of Taipei (MBAT), Magazine Publishers Association of Malaysia (MPA), Magazine Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS), National Book Development Board (NBDB), National Book Development Council of Singapore (NBDCS), Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc.
