IT Group Bags People's Choice Award for Best SME Website at the 10th Philippine Web Awards

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES, November 24, 2007. We at IT Group, Inc. are pleased to announce that our website has bagged the People's Choice Award for Best SME Website at the recently concluded 10th Philippine Web Awards!

The Philippine Web Awards or the PWA is an award-giving body that annually honors the best Filipino-made websites, their designers and developers. This year, IT Group submitted 2 entries - www.hondaph.com for the Corporate category which was able to reach the Finals and our own website, www.itgroup.com.ph as our entry for the SME category.

A total of 127 websites were entered into the competition, across 15 categories which include Corporate, SMEs, Organizations, Schools, E-Commerce, News & Media, Lifestyle & Leisure, Blogs, and more. Out of the 127, 69 websites made it to the finals, and only 32 were named the best and the most popular in their categories. IT Group's official website won, through SMS and online voting, the People's Choice Award for the best website for the SME Category. The People's Choice Award is based on the results of this year's online and SMS voting for each of the 15 categories.

The awarding ceremonies were held at the Teatrino Theatre and Bar in Greenhills, San Juan last November 23, 2007.
