IT Group Opens Doors to New Training Facility in Libis!

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES, May 5. 2007. IT Group, Inc., an enabler and partner of businesses for service innovation, opened today the doors to its brand new training facility in Libis, QC.

The new training facility is equipped with brand new HP desktops with dual core processors, 1 GB RAM and flat screen, LCD monitors.

The first in the lineup of offered trainings to be conducted at the new facility are those for Red Hat training and certification to be provided by Q-linux—a division of IT Group and the country’s pioneering and most respected name in Open Source and Linux.

“Our new facilities ensure an experience at par with any of Red Hat’s global network of training providers,” exclaimed Mr. Victor Mendoza, Business Development Manager for Q-linux. “Our goal is to make sure students are satisfied in the courses we provide and in the use of our facilities,” he added.

Besides Red Hat Linux training, the company also provides training in other open source technologies. It offers courses for open source development languages such as PHP, application and database platforms such as MySQL, Apache, as well as other open source tools such Squid, and SAMBA.

Beginning June, the company will also start to offer trainings on the open source versions of enterprise applications that are members of the Red Hat Exchange (RHX). These include best of breed, business-ready applications in CRM, Content Management, and Communications, Just some of those included in the lineup are the community and open source versions of SugarCRM, Centric CRM, Alfresco, Zimbra and many others.
