Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART) is the Philippines’ leading wireless services provider with 25 million subscribers on its GSM network as of end-June 2006, equivalent to approximately 58 percent market share.

The Challenge

To support its wide operation, the IT department has to manage over 200 servers running on different operating system platforms and more than 500 workstations across the enterprise. And this is undoubtedly a very challenging task.
